“It is very easy to be consumed by what’s in front of us — which is ever-changing and faster than ever before. So, it is more important than ever to take control; of our consumption, attention, and intention,” Marvin Conanan, founder of PURVEYR shared. Creative introspection can lead us to have a more conscious understanding of our actions, thoughts, and what surrounds us, and have control of the narrative we wish to write.
In doing so, the 2024 Calendar will feature the likes of JP Anglo, chef of SARSA and Kooya Filipino Eatery; Daryl Chang, fashion director of Billboard Philippines and fashion editor of Vogue Philippines; and Tey Clamor, a cinematographer and documentary filmmaker. Alongside these creatives, we also asked Vince Javier of DBTK; Erwin Romulo, filmmaker, writer and art curator; and Wiji Lacsamana, visual and tattoo artist, for their insights on creative introspection. Each month a quote from the six creatives is presented to bring forth an opportunity to ponder on our own creative journeys and beliefs.
A portion of the sales will go to Palestinian-related organizations like the Philippines-Palestine Friendship Association (we will announce if there will be other organizations who will receive a portion of the funds) to extend help to the families and people affected by the war in Gaza. The size of the calendar is 17 x 22 inches.
