Now on its 10th year, Sleek/Shy was originally a personal project pioneered by Cubao-based, t-shirt designer Finn. Strongly influenced by the process of collage, the illustrator’s designs subtly hint at quirk and humor: puns, peculiar references, inside jokes, and imagery inspired by his cat Eyming, glaze the graphic artist’s merchandise. Impelled to stretch the boundaries of traditional printmaking and layout design, Finn utilizes Sleek/Shy’s space as a form of creative exercise.
